Inverse fair value gaps

A body close through an opposing FVG confirms an inversion in the creator’s entry model.

Rules to keep

  1. Liquidity first: identify a meaningful sweep and a plausible reversal location.
  2. Bullish: close above a bearish FVG. Bearish: close below a bullish FVG. Wicks alone do not confirm.
  3. Prefer one recent, obvious gap. With multiple nearby gaps, check the full relevant structure or a slightly higher execution timeframe.
  4. The lesson uses 1M–5M execution. Entry can be at the confirming close, or on retracement when that close makes risk unattractive.
  5. Target the next high/low or inefficiency. Skip if confirmation already delivered that objective. Define invalidation; a close back through the iFVG challenges the thesis.
