Judas Swing
A deceptive initial move that reverses into a later move, often around a session open or a consolidation breakout.
Rules to keep
- Identify the initial move and which liquidity it attacks.
- Watch for a return into the prior range and decisive opposing displacement/structure confirmation.
- Use an established entry model such as an FVG after confirmation.
- Map opposing liquidity and invalidation before execution.
- If confirmation never forms, the opening move may simply continue.
