DB02 · Notes + lesson model
Core entry checklist
Keep the reason for the trade separate from the execution signal.
Rules to keep
- Context: higher-timeframe location and an unswept target.
- Liquidity: identify what was taken and what larger pool remains nearby.
- Confirmation: traditional model = displacement/MSS and a closed FVG; inversion model = qualified body close through the relevant opposing gap.
- Execution: traditional model waits for retracement; the iFVG lesson allows confirming-close or retracement execution.
- Risk and objective: define invalidation, confirm the target is still available, and skip if the planned entry never appears.
